Confession of A panic

Confession of panic

Ghosts, vampires or mummies always appear at nighttime. Compare to daytime, nighttime is dark and horrible. Thus we don’t know what will happen and what will appear unexpectedly. For example, a ghost with long black hair that covers its face will appear behind you when you are on your way to toilet.

From childhood, my cousin had told me many ghost stories. Although I was very scared about the ghost stories, I would be attracted by them. Then after I listened to the ghost stories, I couldn’t fall asleep and I would open my eyes as big as possible to see whether the ghost would appear in front of me and ate me up. Merely the thought of that made me come out in goose flesh.

Until now, I am still scared to stay in a place alone at nighttime.

I still remembered the day when my parents went out on business for two days and one night. I still had lessons then so I had to stay at home alone. I turned on all of the lights in my house to avoid the ghost to approach me so that I would not scare. However, time always passes quickly. It was time to go to sleep, but I had to switch off the lights before I went to bed.

After I myself struggled, I switched off the lights finally. Then I lay on my bed and I opened my eyes liked a goldfish, whose eyes are immense and round, with horror and my lips trembled with tear. I looked around my room carefully liked an explorer to check whether there are any ghosts around my room or not. Suddenly a strange noise broke the silence of the night. A thrill of fear ran through me. Then instinct told me that I’d better to shout, but I couldn’t, because I was afraid that the ghosts would approach me and then ate me up. Thus, I looked at the sound source for a long time. Then there was nothing happened, I felt that was useless so I forced myself to fall asleep so that if the ghosts ate me up, I would not feel painful. Therefore, I closed my eyes tightly. That night my heart liked a lively dear, it jumped and jumped without tiredness. I fell asleep with bloodcurdling at last.

The incident will stay in my heart forever because it was the most horrible incident that I have experienced. I won’t forget the horrible night!
