Caught in a storm

In the early morning, I took a bus to school. Suddenly, I heard an earsplitting crack, following by a heavy shower of rain. It did not affect me since I was in the bus. However, after 5 minutes, I alighted.

Needless to say, the rain did not stop. The way from the bus stop to my school is not covered by anything so I took out my umbrella. At the same time, I hoped the umbrella could protect me to be "attacked" by the storm and rain. While I was heading to school in a chaos of wind, water and noise, there was a blinding flash as lightning hammered down on the floor. Lightning is terrible as it always "divides" the sky into two in a second. I was scared I would be "divided" into two like the sky. By thinking of this, my body was shivering violently. Gradually, the rain became heavier and the umbrella became useless as the rain started to drop on my body, drop in my shoes. I soaked as if I wore my clothes to swim in a swimming pool just now.

Fortunately, my school was not far away from the bus stop. Thus, I reached school within five minutes. It is horrible to catch in a storm.
